Regular Season Round 11: Myerscough - Drive Ac. 62-74

Everything went according to plan when leader FinnishDrive Ac. (8-0) won against 39th ranked British Myerscough (2-6) 74-62 on Saturday. Drive Ac. trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-62. Drive Ac. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Myerscough 's 28. Drive Ac. forced 26 Myerscough turnovers and outrebounded them 42-29 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Abdullah Amzil (199-2005) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Aaron Ekwere (190-2006) helped adding 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Guard Marcus Robinson (190-2006) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and Sanchez Falette scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Drive Ac. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Barsy. Loser Myerscough keeps the 39th position with six games lost.
